Toyota has rolled out a new styling package for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, called the Aero Black Edition. It's a purely cosmetic upgrade aimed at buyers who want their SUV to look a bit sportier and more premium without touching anything under the hood.

What Does the Aero Black Edition Add?
The package brings a set of blacked-out styling bits to the Hyryder, including an upper garnish on the grille, a front spoiler, garnishes around the headlamps and tailgate, and a rear spoiler. Toyota has also thrown in a special "Aero Black" badge to mark it out as a limited edition.
It's priced at Rs 31,999 and is being offered only on the Midnight Black shade, across the G and V trims. Buyers get to choose between the mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid powertrains with this package.
Engine and Transmission Options Remain Unchanged
Since this is only a styling update, the Hyryder's mechanicals stay exactly the same. The strong-hybrid version continues to use a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery, sending power through an e-CVT.
The mild-hybrid variant sticks with the familiar Maruti Suzuki-sourced 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine, available with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Should You Go for It?
The Aero Black Edition is really for buyers who already like the Hyryder but want it to stand out a little more on the road. Since it's a limited-run package tied to stock availability, those interested may want to check with their nearest Toyota dealer soon rather than later
